The FINE Curriculum is structured yet flexible life-skills program built specifically for adults with profound autism, rooted in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and delivered through Flexible Instruction in the Natural Environment (FINE). This curriculum reflects our ongoing mission at the South Florida Autism Center to promote dignity, independence, and meaningful engagement for all our participants. The FINE’s Curriculum was created to provide a year-round, structured, and flexible guide for teaching adults with profound autism essential life skills. The program emphasizes independence, self-advocacy, communication, emotional regulation, vocational readiness, and community integration. Each month features a theme that ties together all instructional domains, giving participants context-based learning experiences that are functional, meaningful, and developmentally appropriate.

Trainings for the FINE Curriculum is offered in our adult program!
We will be providing trainings for educators, professionals, and organizations with hands-on guidance and tools to effectively implement the framework. More details on training dates and registration will be shared shortly.
